A MEETING of the Project Construction and Implementation Committee was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel at Mantralaya, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. During the meeting, proposals for various significant projects concerning the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRANVP) and the Public Works Department were discussed and deliberated upon in detail. A detailed discussion took place during the meeting regarding the proposal to invite tenders-on a Gross Cost Contract basis-for the design, procurement, supply, operation, and maintenance of compliant batteryoperated AC e-buses under the NRANVP. Various technical and implementation-related aspects of the project were reviewed. In this context, a proposal regarding the construction of office buildings-including the office of the Chhattisgarh Capital Region Development Authority-was also deliberated upon. Officials presented details concerning the project’s requirements and various aspects of the construction to the committee.

 

The meeting also included a detailed discussion on the proposal by the Public Works Department regarding the construction of the RaigarhPunjipathra-Gharghoda four-lane road in Raigarh district. Technical aspects concerning the construction of this approximately 37-kilometer-long road were reviewed. Officials provided information regarding land acquisition, land diversion, and preparations for the construction work. The proposal for the construction of the Akaltara bypass-spanning approximately 6.70 kilometers in the Janjgir-Champa district-was also deliberated upon in detail during the meeting. Discussions were held regarding the necessary procedures while reviewing the technical and constructionrelated aspects of the project. Secretary of PWD Mukesh Bansal, Secretary of Housing and Environment Department Ankit Anand, Secretary of Economics and Statistics Bhuwnesh Yadav, Secretary of Energy Department Saransh Mittar, Chief Executive Officer of NRANVP Chandan Kumar and other officers attended the meeting.
