CHIEF Minister Dr Mohan Yadav
said that the ‘Rakhi’ received
from his sisters is a gift of affection. Under the leadership of
Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
country is developing rapidly.
He expressed these views while
addressing the function held at
Maihar on Wednesday for the
transfer of funds under the
‘Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna
Yojana’ and the groundbreaking
and inauguration of various
development projects.
On the occasion, sisters tied a
big ‘Rakhi’ on their beloved Chief
Minister brother. The Chief
Minister joined the sisters in the
‘Sawan’ festivities.
He stated that during the holy
month of ‘Sawan’, 1.25 crore sisters are receiving an additional
Rs 250 for ‘Raksha Bandhan’
alongside the ‘Ladli Behna
Yojana’ funds.
The Chief Minister released
the ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ funds in
the presence of two athletes from
Maihar, Ananya Awadhiya and
Unnati Pandey.
Thousands of sisters have
become ‘Lakhpatis’ (earning over
a lakh rupees annually) through
self-help groups. Sisters are also
being provided the benefit of concessions for setting up industries.
Chief Minister stated that the
construction of 'Maa Sharda Lok'
would begin soon. Projects worth
Rs 3,000 crore have been
approved for the 'Ram Path
Gaman' and the 'Vanvasi Ram
Lok' in Chitrakoot. With the blessings of Maa Sharda, the newly
formed Maihar district is developing rapidly. Vindhya region
had been awaiting water from the
Bargi Canal for 17 years; the tunnel work is now complete. Within
a few months, water from the
Narmada River will reach the
fields of farmers in the Maihar,
Satna, and Rewa districts of
Vindhya. Satna MP Shri Ganesh
Singh will undertake a 70-day
*padyatra* (foot march) to connect with farmers in the areas irrigated by the Narmada.
Along with presenting Raksha
Bandhan gifts to the 'Ladli
Behnas', Chief Minister
announced several development
initiatives for Maihar district.
He inaugurated and performed the ‘bhumi pujan’ ceremony for construction projects
worth Rs 256 crore, including the
groundbreaking for the first
phase of 'Sharda Lok'.
Chief Minister announced the
construction of an electricity substation in Badera and a modern
hospital in Maihar. He stated that
the Lilji Pond would be renovated and strengthened at a cost of
Rs 50 crore, and ‘gaushala’ capable of housing 5,000 cattle would
be constructed in Maihar.
Chief Minister announced a
grant of Rs 25,000 to each *Alha*
troupe performing at the event.
During the ceremony, the Chief
Minister distributed benefits to
beneficiaries of various schemes,
including the Pradhan Mantri
Awas Yojana, grants for self-help
groups, and the Udyam Kranti
Yojana. Radha Singh, Minister
of State for Rural Development
and Minister-in-charge of
Maihar district, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the
various gifts and development
initiatives.
MP Ganesh Singh expressed
appreciation for the ‘Jan Vishwas
Abhiyan’ and thanked the Chief
Minister for ensuring the completion of the Bargi Canal project. While welcoming the Chief
Minister, Maihar MLA Shrikant
Chaturvedi requested the development of 'Maa Sharda Lok' in
Maihar, as well as the construction of a hospital, a ring road, a
modern stadium, a road to
Nadan College, roads connecting Ghunwara to Gusaul and
Ghunwara to Kalda, and a substation at Badera.

the Maihar helipad, he

and Vikram Singh, and other
local public representatives.
The public representatives
welcomed Chief Minister
Dr Yadav by presenting him
with bouquets.
On this occasion, the public
representatives discussed various issues related to the development and public welfare of
Maihar district with Chief
Minister Dr. Yadav.
Acknowledging everyone's
greetings, Chief Minister Dr.
Yadav expressed his commitment to working continuously for the development of
Maihar.
