A MEETING of State-level officials was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel at Mantralaya, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar today to discuss preparations for the proposed visit of the Vice President of India C P Radhakrishnan to Chhattisgarh on September 2. During the meeting, detailed reviews were conducted regarding security, protocol, traffic management, medical arrangements, reception, and necessary logistical arrangements at the event venue for the Vice President’s proposed visit. It may be mentioned that the Vice President will attend the convocation ceremony of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raipur on September 2.

 

Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel directed officials to ensure that all arrangements during the Vice President’s visit are made in accordance with established protocols and the minute-to-minute schedule. He instructed that all arrangements-including entry and exit plans for the route from the airport to the venue and the return journey-be finalised with effective coordination. Principal Secretary of Home and Jail Department Niharika Singh Barik, Secretary of General Administration Department Avinash Champavat, Secretary to Chief Minister Mukesh Bansal, Raipur Divisional Commissioner Shyam Dhawde and other officers attended the meeting.
