young wushu talent Ishwari Dantale, a Class IV student of Mount Carmel Girls’ School, delivered a remarkable performance to claim dual honours at the 18th District-Level Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior Wushu Championship, organised by Nagpur Wushu Association at Koradi Sports Complex,. Competing in the Under-12 age category, the Nagpur-based Ishwari secured first position in the Nanchak event and finished as the first runner-up in the challenging Wingchun discipline, showcasing her all-round skill and determination in a highly competitive field.

 

The championship, affiliated with the All Maharashtra Wushu Association, attracted several seasoned and well-known players from across the district. Representing TSKOI Club, Ishwari produced an impressive display of technique and composure to top the podium in Nanchak and first runner up in Wingchun. Ishwari is the daughter of social worker Dr Shekhar Dantale and Advocate Sonali Dantale. Club head coaches Mowin William and Jacqueline William guided Ishwari. Nagpur Wushu Association Secretary and Technical Director Deepak G Bisan, along with other officials, organisers and fellow athletes, appreciated Ishwari’s performance.
