The MahaDBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) 1.0 portal will remain operational until September 15, 2026, to process pending applications of eligible students from Nagpur division for the academic years 2024-25 and 2025-26. The facility covers Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli districts.
Prasad Kulkarni, Deputy Commissioner of Social Welfare, Nagpur Region, has appealed to students, parents, and educational institutions to complete all pending formalities before the deadline.
Students must rectify errors and resubmit applications pending at their level, while colleges must process applications pending at the institution level and forward them for further action.
Students and parents will be responsible for applications remaining pending at the student level, and the department will not be liable for applications not submitted before the deadline.
The portal will be permanently shut down after September 15. New applications for 2026-27
will be accepted through MahaDBT 2.0.
Colleges have been urged to remain open on weekends to clear pending applications within the deadline.
