Dr Manali Kshirsagar, Vice-Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), assumed additional charge as Vice-Chancellor of the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU) on Monday.

 

The charge was formally handed over by outgoing Vice-Chancellor Dr Nitin Patil during a programme held at the university’s Vice-Chancellor’s office. Dr Vijay Khandal, Registrar, RTMNU; and Mona Thakur, Registrar, MAFSU, were among those present on the occasion. Soon after assuming office, Dr Kshirsagar reviewed the university's academic and administrative functioning and held discussions with senior officials on key challenges requiring immediate attention. She emphasised the importance of identifying practical solutions to administrative and academic issues while ensuring the institution’s continued growth. During the programme, a documentary highlighting the achievements of outgoing Vice-Chancellor Dr Nitin Patil during his three-year tenure was screened. Dr Patil also presented an overview of the university's progress and thanked faculty members, officers and staff for their support and dedication throughout his tenure.
